So last weekend was the first round of West Coast Team Drifting Championship and it was awesome. At the last minute we put a team together and ended up taking the win. Team Switchblade! Consisting of myself, BigWave Dave and my old teammate Chris “Flybert” Mendoza. The event was super fun and we ended up coming home with $1000, a bunch of T-Shirts from Fatlace/Hellaflush, S&M bikes, a Grab bag from Fatlace, 5 gallons of GreenOil, and a pair of Toyo Tires. Enough rambling….heres pics.

Day 3 we went on our Eco-Tour…It started out with a hike in the mountains on the westside of Oahu.
One of those you can see the ocean from here moments…
We then went to a non-touristy beach. And we were the only ones there. Our tour guide ended up getting stung by a jellyfish pretty badly….Oops.
Then we went to the Halona Blowhole (a lava tube that shoots water up to 40 feet in the air)
On our second day we boarded a motorcoach that took us to the Northeast part of Oahu, in the middle of which was the Polynesian Cultural Center. This place is owned by the Mormons, who have a BYU next door. It showcased all the Polynesian cultures ( Fiji, Samoa, Hawaii, Tahiti, New Zealand, Tonga,)

So my girlfriend and I recently took a 5 day vacation to Hawaii and had a blast. We stayed on Oahu and did the tourist thing. Day 1 we both got very jetlagged for some reason and we ended up walking around our hotel area.

So I took Mario to get surgery on his hand and we stumbled onto this Hobby store and I picked up a 1/72 scale P-40 model. Put it together the next week and tried my hand at airbrushing.
I have a P-51 i’ll probably put together next week. I also want a B-17 bomber.
